Boden Sanctuary

From Stresa proceed on the main road along the lake and pass the villages of Baveno and Feriolo. After Feriolo, once you have passed the bridge, turn right to Isolino campsite and take the cycling trail of Toce river.

Proceed on the Toce cycle path and reach Mergozzo, located on Mergozzo Lake. Reach the traffic light in the pedestrian area of Piazza Cavour and continue uphill until you get to the crossroads, a few meters after the post office. Here turn left and follow signals for "Campo Sportivo", then proceed on the cycle path along Toce River to Ornavasso.

From Ornavasso follow signals for "Santuario della Madonna del Boden", a particular sanctuary surrounded by a green area. 

Then return to Ornavasso and continue on the main road towards Gravellona Toce for about 7 km. Pass the fuel station and turn left to take the path along Toce River. A cycle path of 5 km will lead you back to Feriolo.
From Feriolo cycle on the main road along the lake to reach Stresa.
