Park your Vespa in Orta and, after a pleasant walk in the town's centre, take the boat to San Giulio's Island and Pella. Enjoy lunch in a typical restaurant overlooking the lake.
Orta San Giulio is a very nice medieval village with ancient palaces, tiny streets and typical stone buildings. 
You will also enjoy a boat ride to San Giulio Island, famous for the Romanesque church and the ancient monastery.
